iniCAN - CAN 2.0b compliant Controller

The iniCAN core is a full CAN 2.0B compliant bus controller. The core contains the complete data link layer, including the framer, transmit and receive control, error handling, error reporting, and frame synchronization. It is designed for system integration meaning that smart interfaces simplify system embedding. A functional system-level testbench and a Bosch C-model compliance testbench are provided for core verifications. The functional testbench contains the iniCAN core, CANbus transceiver and additional CAN nodes. The core is written in synchronous, structured and technology independent RTL VHDL code. Application specific functions are add-ons and don't influence the main core and therefore its function is still guaranteed.
